The Online Democracy Award seeks to recognize a state legislative Web site that stands out for making democracy user-friendly.

Nominations for the 2007 award will be accepted until Friday, June 22, 2007. Eligible nominees include the Web sites of state legislatures, individual chambers and officially-recognized legislative caucuses. This year's winner will be announced at the legislative staff luncheon on Thursday, August 9 during the National Conference of State Legislatures' Annual Meeting in Boston.

The award is sponsored by NCSL's Legislative Information and Communication Staff Section   (LINCS) and National Association of Legislative Information Technology (NALIT).
