Called ClearPlans, the product offers tools for budget planning, performance management, digital publishing and other tasks, according to a statement from ClearGov.
The new tool includes a feature called ClearDocs, designed to help public agencies create “dynamic web versions” of strategic and other municipal plans, according to the statement. ClearDocs can automatically craft pages containing data entered into the new ClearPlans platform.
ClearPlans also has a real-time dashboard feature with graphs, charts and filters; the ability to add collaborators; progress tracking and budget allocation.
“It was very important to us to build a solution that not only streamlined the creation of an online strategic plan, but also to afford local governments the ability to better manage the execution of their plan and align it with their budget, ” said Chris Bullock, CEO and co-founder of ClearGov, in the statement.
ClearGov says it works with more than 900 public agencies.
Earlier this year, the company launched a ChatGPT tool that uses generative artificial intelligence to help local governments craft narratives around budgets. Training data stretches back at least three years, the company said at the time.
