The news release said the new Revature PACE program will give employees 10 to 12 weeks of full-time remote training. Once eligible employees complete that training period and work on client projects as tech professionals, they will qualify for an employer-sponsored program that will grant them 40 percent off tuition in pursuit of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree through the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC), the university’s independent online school.
“UAGC is proud to partner with Revature in providing a seamless course of action to obtaining a bachelor’s degree while already in the early stage of a tech career,” UAGC President and CEO Paul Pastorek said in a public statement. “Together, we can deliver lasting benefits to help elevate IT talent in the country’s workforce, as well as provide opportunities for those who are ready for the next step that taps into their potential as technology professionals.”
The news release said the PACE program is supported by Zovio Employer Solutions, a workforce training company that assists more than 1,300 companies and organizations across the country to make use of corporate tuition assistance programs, including full tuition grants and reduced tuition programs through UAGC.
