Less than a year after its last cash infusion from investors, Ride Report is once again pulling in money. And in the intervening months, the company's customer count appears to have grown quickly.

Ride Report, which offers software to help governments use data to study micromobility, has raised $10 million in investment money.

The round, reported by TechCrunch, comes less than a year after Ride Report’s last fundraising haul. The two rounds together total $13.4 million.

The company works with micromobility companies such as Lime, Skip and Bird to gather data on things like e-bike and scooter trips.

Ride Report appears to be growing relatively quickly. In May of last year, CEO William Henderson told Government Technology that the business was working with about 30 cities; he told TechCrunch that that number is now at 70.

Buoyed by an influx of data and a growing need for cities to accommodate new citizens, a new class of startups has appeared seeking to help local governments access micromobility data — as well as data from transit, cyclists, pedestrians and private cars. They include Strava, Remix, Populus and StreetLight Data.

The current fundraising round was led by Unusual Ventures, according to TechCrunch.
